Kiyoharu Surenji (水蓮寺 清春, Suirenji Kiyoharu?) is a main character in Mahou Shoujo Site.
Appearance[]
Kiyoharu is a fair-skinned girl with short blonde hair topped by a pink or red ribbon and light blue eyes. Her most common outfit is her school uniform, which consists of a short-sleeved shirt with a bow, a chocolate-colored plaid skirt, long white stockings, and black shoes. Throughout the series, she is also seen wearing a swimsuit and casual clothes.
When using her stick, the tips of her hair change to pink-purple and blood flows down from her scalp and down her forehead.
Personality[]
On the surface, Kiyoharu has a very sweet and sociable nature. She's oftentimes very upbeat, cheerful and quite bubbly, and genuinely cares for her companions and those around her, Especially Kosame Amagai, a close companion of her's which she cares for deeply to the point where Kiyoharu will defend her from Rina's pessimistic nicknames. Kiyoharu is also shown to be a huge fan of Dog's Play and gets very ecstatic when meeting Nijimi Anazawa for the first time.
Beneath Kiyoharu's sweet and sociable nature, she has demonstrated to be a silently determined girl who holds vindictive malice for her bullies and she has expressed utter disdain for. She speaks to Kosame Amagai in private that she plans to enact vengeance to her bullies only after they had found happiness, just so she could feel the satisfaction of "throwing them from paradise into hell." She has repeatedly shown a strong sense of justice and love for her friends. She has a loving and trusting relationship with her mother, collapsing in despair when she sensed her death. Her mother was the first person she confessed to about her desire to be a girl.
Kiyoharu is also one of the most cunning and devious of the Magical Girls, casually using her stick's power to listen to the thoughts of others without their knowledge for her benefit. When she shook hands with Aya Asagiri, Nijimi Anazawa and Tsuyuno Yatsumura, she took the opportunity to have a closer look into their minds and see how many lifespans they had left to confirm their possible uses in their battle. Later, she schemed to mind-control Asahi in order to get rid of Kaname Asagiri without telling the rest of her friends first.
History[]
Kiyoharu is a transgender girl who is bullied at school because of her gender identity. The bullying ranges from physical to verbal abuse. Since she was able to receive a stick from the site and become a magical girl, that suggests anyone is able to become a magical girl regardless of their biological sex.

Telepathy[]
Kiyoharu's ring has the power to link her directly to the target's sensory system to control their body and experience their senses remotely. She can also read the minds of others, though this is most commonly used to instantaneously communicate with any number of other magical girls regardless of their location or to confirm whether or not someone is still alive.
Laser Beams[]
Later, when Kaname Asagiri failed to stop the King due to his Negative Energy no longer being a "Man's", Kiyoharu took up the Teddy Bear Stick and attacked the King with its Laser Beams using her own Negative Energy to power the Teddy Bears lasers to attack the King.
Breathing Bubble[]
The Breathing Bubble was given to her by Kosame Amagai when she began to lose consciousness due to the lack of oxygen in the upper atmosphere of the planet, The Sports Cap Stick gives her the ability to create an oxygen bubble around her head, allowing her to breath in such locations devoid of air.

- The name Kiyoharu means "clear, pure, clean" (清) (kiyo) and "spring" (春) (haru).
- Kiyoharu's surname Suirenji means "water" (水) (sui), "lotus, water lily" (蓮) (ren) and "temple" (寺) (ji).

- Her mother appeared in the Chapter 89, but she was killed by Kyu.
- In Chapter 92, Aya made use of Alice Misumi's stick and succeeded in rescuing the woman by rewinding time a few minutes.
